Landgoed Villa Vallerosa is een indrukwekkend 16 hectare groot familie-eigendom ten noorden van Rome. Het ligt op de tweede heuvelrug vanuit de Tiber vallei. Selci is per trein zonder overstappen vanaf vliegveld Fiumicino te bereiken.

De ruime appartementen zijn chique Italiaans ingericht met een rustige uitstraling en voorzien van alle moderne voorzieningen. Het grote en diepe zwembad ligt aan de rand van de vallei en heeft een fantastisch uitzicht. Bij het zwembad is een volledige keuken voor 16 personen. Het 120 m2 grote yoga platform kijkt op het oosten. De Ontmoetingsruimte is geschikt voor buffetten, vergaderingen en trainingen tot maximaal 16 personen en culturele bijeenkomsten. De meeste appartementen hebben een open haard en terras of tuin. Allemaal een eigen keuken meestal met draadloos internet. Het land om de appartementen heen wordt nog steeds gebruikt voor landbouw en er worden verscheiden dieren gehouden zoals paarden, varkens, geiten, schapen, ezels en kippen. De natuur is sub-tropisch. Er is een grote verscheidenheid aan vogels, insecten, bomen en planten. Veel voorkomend is het stekelvarken. De jaarlijkse terugkeer van de vuurvliegjes en levendig zingende nachtvolgels zijn een echte attractie.

In de omgeving van Selci liggen vele dorpjes met een historisch centrum. Selci zelf is 1100 jaar oud en heeft 900 inwoners. Lokaal worden er verschillende producten gemaakt zoals wijn, olijfolie, kaas, prosciutto en veel meer. Villa Vallerosa is a prestigious eighteenth century 16 hectares property close to Rome. It isa beautiful country estate in the heart of the Sabine Hills and it dominates a luxuriant Tuscan type valley. It is located just a mile from the medieval village of Selci Sabina and just 45 kilometers north of Rome. Two villages away an ancient Roman villa of the Aurelius family is located. Vallerosa is the perfect starting point to visit Tuscany, Florence, Assisi, Perugia, Rome, San Gimignano and Napels. Selci can be reached by direct train from Fiumicino Airport via Rome centre. No transfer needed. € 8 only.

The large apartments have been created to give a chique feel of the tradition of Sabina, while providing all the modern amenities. The land is still farmed by 'Faccio Io' Luigi Giuseppi. There are a variety of animals, such as horses, pigs, goats, sheep and donkeys. The estate produces it's extra vergine oil and wine. The pool is large and deep with a magnificent view. It also has a fully equiped outdoor kitchen next to it. The southern oriented yoga platform is huge (120 m2) and at the edge of the eastern oriented valley. The meetingroom for max. 20 pax in an old carriage barn is chique and fully equiped. It can be used for training, workshops, buffets and cultural events.The professional kitchen (new!) facilitates slow cooking for fast events. The climate at the estae is sub-tropical. There is wide variety of birds, insects, plants and trees. Porky pines can be seen daily. The yearly return of the fire-flies and the lifely singing birds during the night are a real attraction.

The area is renowned for its breathtaking Tuscan-type landscape, medieval villages, sagra's, local produce such as olive oil, wine, cheese, prosciutto, truffles, porcini and much, much more.
